Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SolaryxDev (“we”, “us”) is the trading name of a company registered in a free zone in the United Arab Emirates. Its legal name and registered office are in section 1 of our Terms of Service. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: info@solaryxdev.com.

This policy covers our website, the client portal, our WhatsApp line and the calls you book with us. When we build or run software for a client, the personal data in it is processed on the client’s behalf: the client is the controller, we are its processor, and our Data Processing Agreement applies instead of this policy.

2. What we collect, why, and for how long

• Enquiries: your name, email, company and message, to answer you. Kept for 24 months after our last contact.
• Client portal and projects: your account details and what you share on a project, such as messages, files and signed documents, to deliver the work. Kept for the engagement plus 24 months.
• WhatsApp: when you message us or are in a project’s WhatsApp group with us, the messages, files and voice notes, the name and number WhatsApp shows, and the time, to run the project with you. Kept with that project’s records.
• Calls: when you book a call, your name, email and what you enter, kept as for enquiries. We take notes only when we switch them on for a call, and the waiting room tells you before you join. The transcript and summary are deleted 30 days after the call.
• Billing: invoices and payment records, kept as long as UAE law requires. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Visits and sign-ins: technical data of each request to our website and portal and of each sign-in, such as IP address, browser, page and time, to keep our services running and secure. Kept for up to 12 months. We do not use analytics. If that changes, the cookie settings will ask you first.

Backup copies are kept for up to six months, then deleted. You do not have to give us personal data, but without your contact details we cannot answer you or work with you.

3. Legal basis

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) we rely on our contract with you for projects, the portal, WhatsApp, calls and billing; on our legal obligations for billing records; on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and keeping our services secure; and on your consent for call notes. Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) we rely on your consent, which you give by contacting us, joining a project or its group, or joining a call with notes on, or on another ground that law allows, such as performing a contract or meeting a legal obligation.

4. Who receives it, and where

Only providers that help us run the business, under contract and only for that purpose:

• our hosting provider, which runs our servers and backups in the European Union;
• our network and security provider, which carries requests to our website and portal;
• our payment processor, Stripe, for card payments;
• our email provider;
• WhatsApp (Meta), for our WhatsApp messages.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU and the UAE, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, for data from the UAE, on a ground UAE law allows. We never sell personal data and never use it to train AI models. We share it with authorities only when the law requires.

5. Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to its use, or send it to you in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before. Write to info@solaryxdev.com and we will answer within one month. You can also complain to the data-protection authority in your EU country or to the UAE Data Office.

6. Cookies

This website sets no cookies. Your browser keeps one record of your cookie choice, and the client portal sets one cookie to keep you signed in. Details are in our Cookie Policy.

7. Other

Our services are for businesses, not for anyone under 18. We make no decision about you by automated means alone. When this policy changes, the date at the top changes, and we tell clients about important changes.
