Managed hosting and support from the team that built the system.
The person who answers after launch already knows your system, because we built it. Hosting sits in Germany by default, and the Premium Subscription adds monitoring and backups proven by real restores.
A 12-month warranty on defects runs from acceptance, and hosting is priced in your proposal, as Base Platform Care from the second year. The Premium Subscription adds monitoring, updates, restore-tested backups and response targets, 4 business hours when the system is down, and extends the warranty up to 24 months.
The terms after launch are the ones you sign.
Every row below comes from the agreement itself. The warranty, hosting and exit terms also appear on our commitments, so none of them turns up later as an add-on.
| When | What applies | What it means |
|---|---|---|
| From acceptance | The warranty | A reproducible defect that makes accepted work fail the agreed scope is corrected at no cost. |
| While we host it | Hosting, priced in your proposal | Billed a year in advance. From the second year this is Base Platform Care. |
| From completion, if you choose | Premium Subscription | Monitoring, security and dependency updates, backups with tested restores, and response targets. The warranty keeps extending while it runs, up to 24 months. |
| Whenever you choose | Leaving | The paid source code and your data, handed over to move to your own or another provider. |
The warranty follows who controls the machine.
The warranty covers defects in what we built, for a period set by where the system runs. Hosting, monitoring, updates, backups and new features come under a paid plan, outside the warranty.
| Where the system runs | Warranty |
|---|---|
| On our hosting | 12 months from acceptance |
| On our hosting, with the Premium Subscription running | Extended month by month while it runs unbroken, to a maximum of 24 months |
| On your own servers | 90 days, because we no longer control the machine |
The extension is earned month by month after handover. Two unbroken years of the Premium Subscription earn the full 24 months, and if the subscription lapses the extension stops, with cover already earned kept.
Response targets by severity, in business hours.
Under the Premium Subscription, the signed terms set a target for each severity, counted in business hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm UTC+4, outside UAE public holidays. Whoever picks up the issue works at the studio that built the system.
| Severity | What it means | Target response |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | The system is down or unusable in production, with no reasonable workaround | Within 4 business hours |
| High | A major function is significantly impaired | Within 1 business day |
| Normal | A minor function is impaired and a workaround exists | Within 2 business days |
| Low | A cosmetic issue, a question or a minor change request | Within 5 business days |
The agreement calls these response targets and sets no fix times. It gives no uptime percentage either, because a third-party provider supplies the hosting under its own terms. We answer for how we configure and manage the service, and we help you resolve the provider's incidents.
Hosted in Germany unless you choose otherwise.
Our hosting sits in Germany and is run to the GDPR, and on your own servers the warranty is 90 days. We arrange the hosting with a third-party provider as your agent and re-bill it at the fee in your proposal, since we run no data centre of our own. The contract names the location and carries the data-processing terms. Under Article 28 of the GDPR, a processor acts only on documented instructions under a written contract.
If a data protection law limits where your customers' personal data may sit, raise it on the first call. You and your counsel decide the location, and the contract names it, whether that is our hosting or your own servers. Security and data covers how each client system is isolated. A system another team built is assessed before we host it, as described under software rescue and modernization.
A backup counts once it has been restored.
Google's SRE book says 'no one really wants to make backups' and that 'what people really want are restores'. So we prove ours by restoring them. We extract the archive, check its file and byte counts against the archive's own manifest, then open each recovered file and look for its format's completion marker.
Monitoring treats silence as a failure.
A check earns its place by going red when the thing it watches breaks, and a check that stops reporting is treated as red too.
Changes after launch pass the same release gate as the build, so each one can be reversed. Where a system uses language models, upgrades, cost budgets and drift are watched as well, under model operations (LLMOps).
Frequently asked questions
What do managed hosting, support and the warranty cover after launch?
A 12-month warranty on defects runs from acceptance, and hosting is priced in your proposal, as Base Platform Care from the second year. The Premium Subscription adds monitoring, updates, restore-tested backups and response targets, 4 business hours when the system is down, and extends the warranty up to 24 months.
What maintenance and support come after the warranty ends?
Hosting continues while it is paid for, as Base Platform Care from the second year. On top of it, the Premium Subscription brings monitoring, security and dependency updates, backups with tested restores, bug fixes and response targets, and stretches the warranty to as much as 24 months. The other route is a clean handover.
How fast do you respond when our system is down?
Under the Premium Subscription, within 4 business hours when the system is down or unusable, and within 1 business day when a major function is impaired. Business hours run Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm UTC+4. Both are targets for a response, and the agreement sets no fix time.
Where will our system be hosted?
Wherever the contract names. That is our default provider in Germany, or your own servers, where the warranty becomes 90 days because the machine is out of our control.
Are backups included in managed hosting?
Only under a paid plan. The delivered build has no backup system of its own, so backups arrive with the Premium Subscription or a hosting plan that states them, and we prove ours with test restores.
Can we leave and take the system with us?
Yes, at any time. Move to your own servers or another provider, and we hand over the paid source code and your data to do it. The agreement has no lock-in clause.
Do you host ERPNext?
Yes. An ERPNext we implement is hosted on the same terms as anything else we build, and our own accounting runs on ERPNext. One that somebody else set up is assessed first, like any takeover.
